Lecce vs Sassuolo (18.10.2025, 15:00)

Tip: Sassuolo to win

Although Lecce finally secured their first victory before the international break, they continue to struggle overall – with just one win in their last 14 Serie A home games and frequent scoring problems. New coach Eusebio Di Francesco faces a tough task as his team lacks confidence and attacking power. Sassuolo, on the other hand, have shown significant improvement under Fabio Grosso, winning their last two league games and climbing into the top half of the table. Andrea Pinamonti is finding his scoring touch and Domenico Berardi’s return boosts their offensive potential. History is also on Sassuolo’s side, as they have never lost away to Lecce. If they maintain their current form, they should collect all three points again.

Pisa vs Hellas Verona (18.10.2025, 15:00)

Tip: Double chance X2 (draw or Verona win)

A clash between two of Serie A’s weakest sides promises to be tight, but Verona have slightly more quality and experience. Pisa remain winless after promotion, with just two points and serious attacking problems – only three goals in six games. They have also conceded 10 goals and failed to score at home against Roma or Udinese. Verona are still seeking their first win as well, but their defence is more organised and they can rely on Serdar and Orban in attack to decide close matches. Historically, Pisa have struggled against Verona, and if they fail to solve their scoring issues, they will be happy even with a draw. Double chance X2 is therefore the safest bet.

Torino vs Napoli (18.10.2025, 18:00)

Tip: Napoli to win

Napoli return from the international break in strong form and aim for their third consecutive Serie A victory. Antonio Conte’s side showed great character in their last match, coming from behind to beat Genoa thanks to goals from Anguissa and Højlund. The Danish striker is in excellent form in both domestic and European competitions and remains the team’s main offensive weapon. Napoli have also dominated this fixture historically, winning eight of their last ten away league games against Torino and conceding in just one of the last six. Torino, on the other hand, have endured a difficult start to the season with only one win, the worst defensive record in Serie A, and four consecutive home matches without scoring. Coach Marco Baroni has yet to find a winning formula, and his team remain near the bottom of the table. Despite a 3-3 draw with Lazio showing some attacking improvement, defensive issues and key injuries persist. Napoli’s superior quality, depth, and confidence should be enough for a comfortable victory. If Højlund maintains his scoring form, the champions are expected to claim all three points in Turin.

AS Roma vs Inter Milan (18.10.2025, 20:45)

Tip: Double chance X2 (draw or Inter win)

Serie A’s headline clash features two title contenders – second-placed Roma and resurgent Inter, who have won five matches in a row. Roma boast the best defence in the league with just two goals conceded, but their attack remains inconsistent. Their comeback win over Fiorentina highlighted their resilience, but facing the league’s most prolific attack will be a tougher test. Inter, under Cristian Chivu, have been dominant offensively with 17 goals scored and nine different players on the scoresheet, showing impressive attacking variety. History also favours the visitors: Inter have won all of their last four games at the Stadio Olimpico and have scored in 11 consecutive away matches against Roma. The Giallorossi have not beaten Inter at home since 2016, adding psychological pressure. Juventus remain unbeaten in Serie A this season, although they have drawn their last five league matches. The Bianconeri rely on a strong defence, which will be weakened by Bremer’s absence, but they still possess greater depth and quality than their opponent. Como have been solid and are unbeaten at home, but historically they struggle badly against Juventus – they have not beaten them in the league since 1952. Cesc Fabregas’ side relies on the attacking duo of Morata and Douvikas, who have yet to make a significant impact against top-level defences. Cagliari will aim to stop in-form Bologna at home and end their inconsistent run of results. The Sardinian side depends heavily on veteran forward Andrea Belotti, but their attacking form has been poor in recent matches, while the absence of Yerry Mina complicates things defensively. Bologna, under Vincenzo Italiano, are playing attractive attacking football and their form is on the rise, as shown by a convincing 4-0 win over Pisa. The visitors have endured an inconsistent start and their away performances have been unpredictable, although they do regularly find the net. Maurizio Sarri’s side are struggling with numerous absences, and the loss of striker Castellanos significantly weakens their attacking threat. Atalanta benefit from the return of key players such as Scamacca and De Ketelaere, which greatly enhances their offensive potential. The head-to-head record is fairly even, but home advantage in Bergamo traditionally favours La Dea. Lazio did win on their last visit here, but current form and squad conditions suggest the hosts are better placed. AC Milan vs Fiorentina (19.10.2025, 20:45)

Tip: AC Milan to win

AC Milan have significantly improved under Max Allegri and will look to extend their six-match unbeaten run against struggling Fiorentina. The Rossoneri are building their success on a strong defence, which has conceded very few goals and keeps them near the top of the table. Rafael Leao is expected to be the main attacking threat, as he has an excellent record against Fiorentina. The visitors are in deep crisis, still searching for their first win after six rounds, and their attack is out of form. The final match of Serie A’s seventh round brings a clash between two lower-half sides separated by just one point. Cremonese have started the season brightly, collecting nine points and enjoying their best-ever start to a top-flight campaign. Despite a heavy 4-1 defeat away to Inter, they remain unbeaten at home, and the Stadio Zini has become a difficult fortress to conquer – they have lost only three of their 21 home meetings with Udinese. Although Davide Nicola’s team have faced the most shots in the league while attempting the fewest themselves, they have maintained a level of consistency that is key to survival. History is also on their side: Udinese have not won in Cremona in the top flight for more than 35 years and have failed in all five Serie A attempts. The visitors arrive in poor form, having taken just one point from their last three league matches while conceding seven goals. Coach Runjaic can count on the returns of striker Adam Buksa and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, but his side are still chasing their first away win.
