Tip: Bohemians to win
Bohemians currently sit second in the table and have been excellent at home, winning seven of their last nine matches at Dalymount Park and losing only once. Under Alan Reynolds, they are unbeaten in six games and have kept four clean sheets during that run. Their defence is among the best in the league, and the team looks stable and well-organized. While Drogheda did beat Bohemians twice earlier this season, they have struggled badly on the road — they are winless in their last eight away games. Furthermore, they have scored just 29 goals all season, which is the third-worst tally in the division. Considering Bohemians' strong home form, squad quality, and momentum, a home win looks very likely.
Tip: Draw
Cork City are currently bottom of the table and their form remains very poor – they are winless in 14 consecutive league matches and have lost each of their last three. However, they occasionally show signs of resistance at home, and they may find extra motivation against Galway to end their losing streak. Galway United are also in an inconsistent spell and have struggled to secure points away from home. These teams have already met twice this season, with one of those games ending in a 2-2 draw. While Cork’s defensive frailty is a concern, home advantage could help them hold their own. Given the poor form of both sides and their previous encounters, a draw seems like the most likely outcome.
