Tip: Young Boys to win
Young Boys started the season strongly with a 3–1 win over Servette and returned to the top of the league table for the first time since May 2024. Historically, they have dominated Winterthur, winning ten of eleven Super League meetings. Although they surprisingly lost the most recent one, they are now looking to improve their away form, which was poor last season. With Christian Fassnacht back among the goals, Young Boys have the tools to claim three points here.
Tip: Draw
Servette had a disappointing start to the season, conceding three goals in their opener—something rare for a team known for defensive solidity. However, they are unbeaten in their last five home games against St. Gallen. The visitors showed character by coming from behind to beat Basel and are a resilient side. Given the historical balance between these teams and current form uncertainties, a draw seems the most likely outcome.
Tip: Basel to win
Basel have a historically dominant record against Grasshoppers and are usually strong at home. Despite a shaky start to the season, they continue to score consistently—netting in every game of 2025. Grasshoppers, meanwhile, lost their opener and traditionally struggle away at Basel. With new English forward Luke Plange already finding the net, Basel will be eager to bounce back and take all three points.
Tip: Thun to win
Thun have a very strong head-to-head record against Lausanne, especially at home where they’ve lost just once in ten matches. They are on a nine-game unbeaten home run, while Lausanne often struggle on the road, particularly against promoted sides. Thun’s solid home form and historical edge give them a great chance to secure another victory here.
Tip: Sion to win
Sion produced a spirited comeback win in their opener and boast a strong home record under coach Tholot, losing only three of their last 19 home games. Lugano are on a five-game winless run and their away form is inconsistent. With several new signings already scoring in their debut match, Sion look well-positioned to continue their positive start to the season.
Tip: Luzern to win
Luzern began the season with a win and now have the chance to open a Super League season with two victories for the first time since 2016/17. Zürich lost their opener and have been poor on the road, suffering four straight away defeats. Luzern can rely on striker Adrian Grbic, who has been prolific in 2025. With current momentum and home advantage, Luzern are favoured to win.
